For households and offices where physical mail still creates real work.

Postari

Physical mail, handled like a shared inbox. Photograph bills, notices, and letters with an iPhone. Postari reads the image, tags the item, assigns the right person, and tracks the follow-up.

From envelope to done

Postari keeps the physical handoff visible. Every step shows what happened, who owns it, and what needs attention next.

1

Capture mail

Take a photo as mail arrives. The image is stored privately and served only through authorized routes.

2

Read and tag

OCR extracts text, then AI adds tags, confidence, and the likely document type.

3

Assign the task

Workflow rules set the owner, due date, next action, and any expense tracking needed.

4

Close the loop

Payments, reimbursements, comments, and archive decisions stay attached to the mail item.

Utility mail without the group chat chase

Recurring bills stop becoming loose photos, forwarded messages, and unclear errands. The inbox shows the document, the owner, the task, and the audit note together.

  • See each item by sender, tag, owner, due date, and workflow state.
  • Assign a helper to pay in person and record how much they spent.
  • Correct OCR, tags, assignments, and workflow outcomes when the system gets it wrong.

One model for homes and offices

Spaces, roles, permissions, tags, and tasks stay the same whether the mail arrives at a kitchen counter or a front desk.

Family spaces

Parents, helpers, due dates, errands, reimbursements, and shared history in one inbox.

Office spaces

Office managers, finance staff, legal notices, vendor mail, and archival workflows with clear ownership.

AI decisions with receipts

Postari does not hide automation behind a magic label. Tags, assignments, and workflow actions can explain what evidence they used and when a person corrected them.

Tag added: utility bill Based on OCR text, sender history, and recurring monthly pattern.
Assignment created: Nanny Pim Matched the household rule for in-person 7-Eleven payments.
Human correction saved Changed due date and kept the correction in the audit trail.

Built for sensitive mail

Bills, notices, account numbers, addresses, OCR text, and payment notes are private by default. The interface should feel useful without leaking what the mail says.

Images stay proxied

Clients do not receive direct storage URLs. Image reads go through authenticated Bun routes.

Access follows the space

Families and offices can separate people, roles, permissions, mail items, and tasks.

Logs avoid raw content

Operational logging must avoid raw images, OCR text, addresses, account numbers, and private notes.
